We cannot help but emphasize the deep suffering in which some people live their lives in many countries around the world. It is precisely because of all this suffering that a group of volunteers felt it in their hearts to start the Sinai Association.

Several years ago, a young boy was persecuted in a distant country together with his family because of their faith in Christ. From having everything, they were left with nothing, and for many long years he tried to save his life by hiding from extremist persecutors. He lived every day in hunger and thirst, staying in dark and cold places.

This experience changed his heart and deeply united the family. After surviving the long and harsh persecution and arriving in Italy, the young boy and his family did not remain indifferent.

Having experienced life as refugees in a foreign country, forced to start their lives again from the beginning, their desire today is to help those in need, without regard for their origin, the color of their skin, or their religion.

By loving their neighbor as themselves and giving many others the strength to start again.
